Mobile Hybrid Paint Booth | HBC article SM1000
Specify the SM1000 for local repairs up to 1 × 1 m on a single panel. Check reach, power and extraction before requesting your booth configuration.

Will it cover the repair?
Position the enclosure against the damaged part of the vehicle. It contains a local spray area, not an entire car. Compare the repair width and height with the spray opening, then check the floor space needed to move and position the unit.
- Maximum spray width × height
- 1,000 × 1,000 mm
- Drawing: overall width × height
- 1,064 × 1,360 mm
- Drawing: body / base depth

- Drawing: body width
- 1,003 mm
- Catalogue dimensions / weight
- 130 × 100 × 75 cm / 30 kg
The catalogue dimensions are not the spray area or an installation clearance. Use the drawing for equipment fit and allow access for the operator and hose.
How air moves through the booth
A filtered inlet admits air to the enclosed repair zone. The painter stays outside; at the outlet a paint-stop filter catches overspray and fans draw the exhaust away. Use the surrounding light or specify an optional external LED light.
Choose the exhaust arrangement
For recirculation, pair the booth with a Filterbank or SmartWall. Those extraction units provide the filtration dashboard; it is not a feature of the enclosure alone.

Plan the workshop setup
Match the panel height to the booth, check the electrical supply and plan the exhaust path before allocating the bay. For a lifted vehicle, check stability and clearance for the extender.
How to interpret the energy figure
HBC cites energy savings of up to 96%. Actual savings depend on the booth being replaced, job mix and operating time; this is not a workshop-specific forecast.
Can it reach a panel high above the floor?
The optional extender raises the booth by 1,350 mm from floor level, for a total height above 2.7 m. Consider it for a vehicle on a lift, bus, truck, caravan or motorhome. Check the panel height and access before specifying it.
Does the booth include a Filterbank or SmartWall?
SM1000 identifies the enclosure. Specify how the exhaust will be handled: a suitable ducted exhaust, or an SM2000 Filterbank or SM3000 SmartWall for filtration. Confirm the fan, hose and accessories on the quotation.
Does standing outside remove the need for protective equipment?
No. Select PPE and ventilation for the coating, its safety data sheet and the site risk assessment. HBC describes the booth as CE/ATEX compliant; the linked SM1000 EC declaration identifies the machine, not an ATEX zone or approval of your workshop.
What information helps M&H specify the booth?
