- Decision focus
- Official LanoPro source material from the supplier page for LanoPro Wire Oil 30 EAL.
- Product tier
- Penetrating wire-rope oil route
- Workflow position
- Semi-thick wire-rope oil route for penetration, corrosion resistance, and lubrication of wires, chains, cranes, winches, and similar cable applications.
- Choose when
- Choose Wire Oil when the customer needs oil penetration into wire ropes and wants to minimize heavy lubricant build-up on wire and chain applications.
- Key difference
- Wire Oil is the penetrating liquid route. It differs from Wire Grease ST2 EAL and ST1.5 because those are grease routes with heavier retention behavior.
- Not first when
- Do not lead with Wire Oil when the requirement is underbody rust protection, hydraulic oil, fifth-wheel lubrication, or a heavy grease film on loaded equipment.
- Setup / training check
- Confirm wire type, application method, whether heating/low-pressure sprayer is needed, duty cycle, contamination risk, and whether oil or grease retention is preferred.
- Consumables / aftercare
- Define application interval, inspection method, and whether the wire route should step up to ST2 EAL or ST1.5 grease.
- Next step
- Compare Wire Oil with the wire greases before proposal so the customer understands penetration versus grease retention.
